Popular Kiev newspaper "Ukrainian Pravda" published a response to Putin for his attacks against the Heroes of Ukraine from the Ukrainian Insurgent Army who courageously fought Russian Bolshevik red hordes during the Second World War. The newspaper notes in particular:
"We now see that the war in the North Caucasus shifted to the streets of Moscow. Out of a 900,000 Russian army, 350,000 soldiers and officers are concentrated in the North Caucasus. And they cannot do anything there.
Russia has clearly lost the war. If Russia does not immediately withdraw its troops from the Caucasus, the war will spread into the Russian heartland. Absurd legends and myths about power and glory of Russian weapons and armies vanished like a smoke. It turned out that without Ukrainians, Azerbaijanis, Georgians, Uzbeks, Chechens, Circassians, Lezgins, there is nobody in the Russian army who is capable of fighting.
The task of Russian imperialism and its fifth column in Ukraine is to send our children, grandchildren, brothers, fathers and husbands to the slaughterhouse in the North Caucasus. This fact is yet not clear only to complete fools.
Hence, the Russian propaganda claims that there are supposedly no Ukrainians, but "Russians", or at least "Ruthenians". And within this framework, Russian idiots talk about the existence of a universal "Russian World" that we must protect. This is idiocy and nothing more!
None, I emphasize the word, none of the leaders of Russia ever sent their sons-in-law, brothers or matchmaker to a slaughterhouse in the North Caucasus. None! Out of 350 years, only in the last 20 years no Ukrainian was killed in all of these "victorious" Russian wars. And this "fault" is due to the independence of Ukraine. Keep this in mind, Ukrainians! Putin, as evidenced by his recent comments about Ukrainians, never forgets it".
